Postdoctoral Research Fellow The appointee is expected to conduct cutting-edge research in computational epidemiology (e.g., data-driven temporal-spatial modeling of infectious diseases, modeling of complex network structures and dynamics, agent-based simulation, and decision process modeling). Qualifications: Applicants should have: (a) PhD degree in computational epidemiology, computer science, applied mathematics, temporal-spatial data analysis, complex systems modeling, simulation, OR a related discipline; (b) good publication record on international journals or conferences; (c) experiences in computational modeling, algorithm design, and software systems development; (d) good interpersonal and communication skills; (e) good command of spoken and written English; (f) ability to work independently and creatively. The appointment will commence in August 2012 (or later) on a fixed term of 12 months. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
