Openings in surface science and bio-MEMS Immediate opening for a post-doc in bio-MEMS; strong knowledge / experience in photolithography, microfabrication, soft-lithography and cell culture required. Also an immediate opening for a surface scientist with experience in Sum Frequency Generation Vibrational Spectroscopy. Please note that documented experience with laser spectroscopy especially as it relates to pulsed laser systems and vibrational spectroscopy is a must. Experience in surface science and materials characterization is a big plus. Primary responsibilities will include the maintenance and use of a picosecond-SFG system for studying a broad range of problems in interfacial science. However, along with spectroscopy, the post-doc will be exposed to a wide range of exciting techniques in micro and nanofabrication. We are a multi-disciplinary laboratory with a primary focus on micro-nanosystems and interfacial science.
