Job Description: You will be responsible for the design and implementation of web based applications in Java. In this position, you will be expected to have advanced web and services development skills. As a Java Developer you will provide the analysis, design and implementation of web related projects. You will develop and maintain SDLC artifacts related to web projects. This position will be new development and on-going production support for implemented web projects. We are looking for leader that can be a mentor to more junior developers. Required Technical Skills * 3+ years web development experience on J2EE * 2+ years experience in working within a web development team (2 – 3 resources) * 2+ years experience with web portal usability analysis and testing. * Experience using either the IEEE Web Style Guide or IBM Web Design Guidelines * Experience using JSR-168 & JSR-286 * Experience with JSF, Servlets, JSP, JSTL, and IceFaces, and Velocity templates * Experience with AJAX, CSS, DHTML, JavaScript, XHTML. * Experience with MVC framework * Experience configuring and developing on Jboss, Websphere, and Apache * Experience utilizing Eclipse tools * Developing software artifacts for web developing using UML 2.0. * Knowledge of enterprise portal design concepts such as integration, security, collaboration, personalization, SSO, taxonomy classification and federation * Experience creating and supporting nHibernate ORM * Experience creating and supporting EJB interfaces Global Employment Solutions
