( Monitor Publications Limited, Uganda ) BUSINESS MANAGER – KFM Monitor Publications Limited, a Nation Media Group Company is Uganda’s most influential media house, operating Daily Monitor, Saturday Monitor and Sunday Monitor newspapers, 93.3KFM, 90.4 Dembe FM, Nation Couriers and the Monitor Business Directory. We wish to recruit qualified and experienced professionals to fill vacancies in the Radio Division. We are looking to recruit a: BUSINESS MANAGER – KFM Reports to: COMMERCIAL MANAGER – RADIO Job Purpose: * To design, develop and implement a sales strategy that will ensure that the business achieves its revenue targets for 93.3 KFM and to manage the performance of the KFM sales team. Main Responsibilities: * Design & implement strategies that grow KFM, as well as customer growth across all segments and drive customer retention and revenue growth. * Design work plans that exploit the market place and guide the sales team in there day today sales activities. * Track the sales team performance on a daily, weekly and monthly and regularly communicate the status of their performance. * Carries out regular sales meetings with sales team to review sales progress and maintain good employee relations to ensure the highest degree of morale and discipline. * Mentor and coach the team and regularly carry our performance management reviews as per Monitor Publications Ltd guidelines. * Carries out regular client list review and discusses with the sales team on potential new clients. * Ensure Sales contracts are in place with the appropriate clients and identify their associates and follows up and resolves any complaints * and keep the Commercial Manager Radio informed. * Maintains close liaison with relevant departments and makes monthly sales and collection reports to the Commercial Manager Radio. * Liaise with all concerned departments an all PR related issues pertaining to agency related clients, follow up on the same with relevant parties to ensure customer service. * Coordinate activities with the Commercial Manager Radio and other managers and achieve teamwork in the department and enhance the cross functional potential.
