Scientist-RF Transceiver System Design The successful candidate will play a significant role in the development of a low power multichannel wideband RF transceiver for wireless implantable neural recording microsystem. The specific activities involve: � Analysis and optimize of WBAN standard compliant transceiver system architecture � Derivation of system- and circuit-level specifications � System-level integration, simulation, verification and testing � Co-design with digital baseband and MAC system to fulfill a complete radio function � Design overall clock generation and system synchronization � Work with engineers to integrate the IC into the neural recording microsystem � Work with external researchers to conduct pre-clinical animal studies  Requirements: � PhD degree in electrical engineering with specialization in RF/analog/digital circuits and system design in CMOS � Circuit- and system-level knowledge and experience on wireless communication system � Understanding of biomedical application area such as implantable devices and neuroelectronics � Excellent communications skills in oral as well as technical writing � Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated and a team player � Capability to work in a highly interdisciplinary team of researcher      Contact:      Eisa Teoh Institute of Microelectronics (IME) 11 Science Park Road Singapore Science Park II Singapore, Singapore 117685 Singapore Phone: 65-67705351 Fax: 65-67731912 Email: personnelime.a-star.edu.sg
