Postdoctoral Fellowship in Membrane Science and Technology Postdoctoral Fellowship in Membrane Science and Technology A frontier research group focused on advanced functional materials and active in university-industry collaborations at Western University (The University of Western Ontario) invites candidates to apply for postdoctoral fellow (PDF) position(s) in the area of membrane science, engineering and technologies. The research group is multidisciplinary and consists of researchers with background in chemistry, physics and engineering. The research group is interested in a broad range of membrane science and technologies including membrane synthesis/formation/functionalization/surface modification, membrane structures, transport phenomena in membrane filtration processes, antifouling, module and system design, and processes and applications. Interested candidates are welcome to apply. The contract positions are for one year and renewable upon mutual consensus. Qualifications Candidates should have completed their Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Environmental engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline, with a strong background in membrane science, engineering or technologies. The candidates are expected to be successful in both scholarly scientific discovery and practical technology innovation. Candidates should have ability to work independently; enthusiasm in both research challenges and team work; and hand-on experience in materials/system/process development.
