Dakota State University Job Title: POSTDOCTORAL POSITION in Information Technology at Dakota State University The National Center for the Protection of the Financial Infrastructure at Dakota State University in Madison, SD is adding two postdoctoral positions for systems research in information technology and security. The position is working with industry partner Chenega Logistics to respond to technology and cyber-security opportunities in the U.S Federal Government Industry. There are multiple active projects, including: • Predictive Analysis and Visualization • Supply Chain Management • Software Assurance • Network Security • Risk Management of Federal Systems All candidates with the background identified below are encouraged to apply: • PhD or ABD in technology field, including but not limited to Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Networking, Software Engineering, Information Assurance, etc.). The PostDoc should be able to leverage their technology education and background to the information security domain, • Must have successfully defended their doctoral dissertation or be ABD by May 31, 2012, and • Must be in residence at Dakota State University. This fellowship will provide opportunities for research in the field of DoD technology and security. Fellows will be expected to conduct their own research in cooperation with other researchers. The fellowship will be provided shared office space, access to Dakota State facilities, and a competitive compensation package which includes membership in the Health Plan. The postdoc will have access to extensive resources, thanks in part to several awards from NSF and industrial support.
