Adjunct Faculty Positions - TU College of Health Professions The College of Health Professions at Towson University periodically has openings for adjunct faculty to teach fall and/or spring semesters or summer sessions in the areas of Allied Health, Healthcare Management/Administration, School Health Education, Community Health, Gerontology, Exercise Science, Sport Management, Athletic Training, Physical Education, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology and Deaf Studies. Qualifications A doctoral degree is strongly preferred for all teaching and generally required for doctoral courses. A master’s degree relevant to the area of teaching is required for all undergraduate and master’s level courses (under extraordinary circumstances an exception may be possible). If required by the discipline, appropriate licensure or certification is mandatory. Prior academic teaching at the college level is preferred.
