Program officer Ethiopian Catholic Church-Medhen Social Center (ECC-MSC) is a faith based non-government organization established in 1989 and engaged in community development, social rehabilitation and social welfare programs. Our center would like to invite interested and qualified applicants to compete for the vacant position of Program officer. Job title: - Program officer (Vacancy code No 021) Reports to the management and or Director of the center Job Summary:- The Program officer is responsible in the coordination of the activities in different programs and departments for attaining goals and objectives of the project it continually monitors and evaluates program activities and communicates with management preparing appropriate periodic reports which needs to be up to the standard and requirements. He/ She shall assist the administration and the management, liaising among major government, non-governmental organizations & stakeholders of the project. In general the program officer will have responsibilities in the following six major areas of duties that include. Major duties:- • Planning and implementation of Activities • Documentation and Revision of program procedures • Proposal and concept Note Development • Monitoring and Evaluation of Activities periodically against plan • Timely Reporting and compilation • Collaboration and Networking — Internal & External Qualification: BA degree or above in the fields of Social Work, Sociology , Management, Economics, Development Oriented studies and related fields in social sciences , with a minimum of 4 years of relevant practical experience in community development organization or other non-governmental organization, at management level.
