To apply, please visit: www.ubjobs.buffalo.edu/applicants/Central?quickFind=54915 Position Summary: Assists the overall operation of the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (CEL) programs by providing and coordinating program services with other team members, clients and service vendors. The position requires efficiency, attention to detail and exceptional written and verbal communications skills. Integrity is essential as the employee has access to client, which contains confidential information. Work closely with CEL Executive Director, and other departments within the University, as well as current and prospective clients, in order to accomplish the following tasks that support the strategic & financial goals of the program. Recruitment/Marketing: -Identify and recruit quality participants for CEL programs through direct relationships, trade shows, networking at business events and participation in select trade organizations. -Work with team to develop and execute an annual marketing plan -Marketing includes managing web content, databases, planning/coordination of information sessions, managing social media content and regular contact with prospective program participants -Oversee all functions associated with the admissions process. Advise potential participants on admission requirements, interview potential candidates, prepare applications for review and follow-up with candidates on admissions decisions. Vendor Relations: -Recruit program presenters as directed, maintain relationships, gather and prepare presenter's materials for handouts, etc. -Collect and review program related invoices prior to submission to administrative staff for payment Customer Service: -Maintain quality customer service with CEL clients, alumni, board members, prospects, the School of Management administration, faculty, vendors and staff. Program Administration of Multiple Programs as Assigned: -Participate in the development of customer service procedures, process maps and standard operating procedures. -Analyze ways to reduce expenses and maximize revenue. -Manage sponsor and grant provider relations and completion of appropriate reporting -Determine the most technologically acceptable method to communicate to prospective, current and past students and when to communicate in order to assure accurate dissemination of information and seamless delivery of services. -Coordinate class schedule, presenter schedules and be available during program time to setup classroom technology, greet clients, introduce speakers, etc. Miscellaneous: -Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director that are needed by the Center and/or tasks that utilize this person's personal interests or talents Teamwork: -Ability to work well within a team environment This position reports to the Executive Director for Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and requires an individual who needs minimal direct supervision. The successful candidate will need to understand the strategic goals of the programs and complete tasks in accordance with these goals. Success will be defined by the accomplishment of tasks listed within this description. Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in Business or a related field. A minimum of three years of customer service experience in high pressure situations. Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team, exceptionally good written and verbal communications skills, strong attention to detail, and commitment to a job well done. Experience marketing through social media and email templates preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Additional experience in electronic customer relationship management programs such as Infusionsoft is helpful.
