Cincinnati Children's Research Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow in vascular development- hemangiomas  The Visual Systems Group at CCHMC has an opening for a Postdoctoral Fellow. The Lang laboratory is focused on elucidating mechanisms of vascular development and for this project is interested in understanding how macrophages influence formation of the lymphatic vessels and whether they might play a role in formation of hemangiomas. This project will be executed in collaboration with Dr. Belinda Dicke, a surgeon within the Hemangioma and Vascular Malformations, and Colorectal Centers at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Our previous publications in this area include:  1. Stefater JAI, Lewkowich I, Rao S, Mariggi G, Carpenter AC, et al. (2011) Regulation of angiogenesis by a non-canonical Wnt-Flt1 pathway in myeloid cells. Nature 474: 511-515. 2. Gordon EJ, Rao S, Pollard JW, Nutt SL, Lang RA, et al. Candidates with a strong background in immunology, molecular biology, informatics, genomics, cellular biology and/or signal transduction are encouraged to apply.  Please apply online for job number 56106 at http://www.cincinnatichildrens.org/careers/apply/default.htm    Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Institution. Women and minorities are encouraged to apply.   Contact:      Cindy Bachurski, PhD Cincinnati Children's Research Foundation 3333 Burnet Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45229 United States Email: Send your resume/CV
