We are a new and growing team seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow with experience in cancer biology, cell and molecular biology and or immunological approaches. All work will be conducted under supervision by an appointed Scientist. Collaborations with other CMC faculty and with faculty from other institutions in ongoing and planned research are expected. Develop, design, and implement basic science and translational research projects and contribute to the development of an outstanding research program in cancer biology. Perform research with a level of independence and creativity under supervision, in both basic and translational research in cancer biology. Perform analyses, establish database management systems, write abstracts for publications and present at scientific meetings, write manuscripts for publications and prepare grants. Assist in development of new methodology in sample preparation, and analysis for molecular and biochemical analysis. Instruct and train lab employees in equipment use, help maintain physical environment in lab. The applicant must have a Ph.D. or MD-Ph.D. degree in Cellular, and Molecular Biology and/or Immunology, a strong work ethic, excellent communication and critical thinking skills. Cancer Biology background and working experience with animal model of cancer are strongly preferred.
