Librarian (Information Systems and Technical Services) Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in computer science, information systems, software engineering or related field. A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. Certification and experience in Project Management such as PRINCE2 is an added advantage A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in planning, designing, development, implementation and maintenance of information systems or related area is required. Practical knowledge and experience in the development of digital libraries with Open source software such as Dspace; Development of virtual information services; Management of Integrated Library Management Systems; Advanced Web development and on-line delivery of information services; Demonstrable presentation, training and facilitation skills and 2 years of experience in an international setting are added advantages
